Writers festival comes to town

LITERARY MINDS: Australian journalists Annabel Crabb and Leigh Sales will hold a discussion at The Sydney Writers Festival that will be live streamed to Wagga locals.

One of the country’s largest literary celebrations is coming to Wagga, giving locals the chance to witness international speakers and home-grown icons.

Each year, TheSydney Writers Festival brings togetherthe world’s best authors, leading public intellectuals, scientists andjournalists to create a stimulating, diverse program.

Typically held throughout Sydney venues, the festival is now traveling further afield, with Waggalibrary proudly hosting free live streaming sessions of the event’s highlights.

Held in the Margaret Carnegie Gallery from May 21 until May 22, Wagga locals will be treated to live conversations and panel discussions from some of the world’s most stimulating literary minds, includingKerry O’Brien,Annabel Crabb and Leigh Sales.
